Draw

The draw for the group stages consists of pots based on the number of players per group. Groups of 5 players each will have 4 pots total.

  • Pots are seeded based on player rankings.
  • New players are added to the bottom pots.

For a 20-player division (groups of 5 players each), the pots would be as follow:

  • Pot 1: Top 4 players based on ranking. For Division 1, those would be #1-4.
  • Pot 2: Next 4 players based on ranking. For Division 1, those would be #5-8.
  • Pot 3: Next 4 players based on ranking. For Division 1, those would be #9-12.
  • Pot 4: Next 4 players based on ranking. For Division 1, those would be #13-16.
  • Pot 5: New players. If not enough new players, then next 4 players based on ranking.

A 5-player group would consist of 1 player from each pot.

The draw takes place prior to the tournament start date at one of the Arden tennis courts. At least 4 tournament participants must be present for the draw to take place.
